I found a new blog-site called Glogster.
You can add, tweak and tilt - images and music on your own 'glogs'. Glogs are art-able webpages. Glogster's compression to xanga appears to have 'squished out' some of the text on this page. Either, right-click and make full screen, or visit my glog to see it in full view. I plan to edit my glog again. I'm testing ChangeDetection to see if it's able to monitor changes on glogster.

Hi Toni, A few months ago I asked you to pray for Richard Lee, the father of my friend, Heidi Davis. Who says prayer doesn't help? Her dad has recovered; still lives with the threat of a future heart attack but is OK for now. Now her mother, Judy Lee is seriously ill with Cancer. It started in the lungs and has spread to different areas. She is presently considered at stage four which, I understand, is pretty bad. She is to start radiation treatments today, and soon, chemotherapy. Could you send a plea for prayer for her and possibly a copy to me that I could show to Heidi. Her dad was most grateful for what you did for him. Thanks, Toni. Bill

Hello everyone, Please, lift your voice to God in prayer for Judy Lee, that He will heal her in her mind, body and spirit. Please pray that God with His merciful Grace will remove the cancer from Judy and once again a miracle we will see. Praise be to God in all things. God is the Great Physician! What new faith has been instilled into Richard Lee by God's healing power over him. Prayer is the most powerful thing we can do. God does hear!! Just this once, I want Bill to see how many people this is going to.(App.90) I usually never show anyone's name or emails but this time I feel it is needed so Judy will know how many people are praying for her. Now that's a bunch of prayer warriors and they are scattered all over the states and Europe. But, it only takes one small quiet prayer for God to hear, please let it be yours. President Obama

As a nation and a people, We Can Change!

Our prayers are with you. It is our hope in prayer that GOD is truly with you, your family, our government, and country.

While Barack Obama was not my choice candidate for the President, I do reverence all power and glory to GOD for His will to be done. Life isn't supposed to be fair, yet we, as Christians, are supposed to uphold all things unto the Lord.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

Am I upset? Only somewhat with myself. Since I'm mature enough in the Lord to know that I don't always get my way... even if I thought that I knew what I was talking about.

I am dishearted (because I thought that I knew better) and now I turn towards the Lord for healing and understanding (because I know that GOD knows better).

And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God. Luke 16:15

I know, only God can truly 'fix' me.

We are not perfect, but we strive to obtain perfection in our Father's eyes. Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose, but all things do work together for the greatest good. I find this is more true when I fail to remain in continuous prayer. When I choose to override prayer, by thinking for myself without enough of God's help, especially when caught up in the things I want, or I thought was the best choice.

The LORD repeats Himself, to make His words absolutely clear to us...

Holy, means; "good" in the truest sense of goodness (to be 'good' or to be 'holy' can have the same meaning: but spiritually these meanings are very different from a worldly view).

Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of Him that made it, (or) He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding? Isaiah 29:16

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, Ephesians 1:18

Righteous, means; "right" and not wrong (but 'never wrong' is strictly GOD's territory, as humans are often wrong, whereas GOD can never be wrong. GOD can change His mind (just as He allowed divorce in certain circumstances) but GOD is never wrong.)

How great are You my Lord, that Your ways are better than mine!

No Matter What Happens at the Polls

CBN.com – We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

Thomas Jefferson penned these famous words in the first months of our country’s fight for freedom from Great Britain. According to our declaration and the Bible, God, our Creator, sees us as equals and wants us all to experience freedom and joy in life. This is what I hold onto each time I step up to a voting booth, and today is no different.

Whoever wins at the ballot boxes today will take the reins as president of this great country in January. George W. will step back, and a new chapter in our history will start a fresh page. It’s a humbling task what lies before our new leader. He’ll be picking up the pieces of our fragile economy, getting our military on a good course, and leading a divided nation.

A Country Divided

Some would say our country is split down the middle between those who align with Democratic values and those who have Republican views. Based on the bickering amongst politicians and citizens alike, I’d say we’re in a civil war of beliefs. No side wants to give up their position; no one wants to compromise. To a point, that’s understandable. To rethink one’s point of view for the sake of “peace in politics” would be difficult indeed, but our nation must work together if we’re ever going to accomplish anything.

“Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A town or family splintered by feuding will fall apart.” Matthew 12:25 (NLT)

Change is good. But unless our politicians (or people) quit some of the backbiting, we’re never going to see it happen. We need integrity and hard work coming out of our nation’s capital (or us) instead of endless “debates” that only delay real action. Righteous indignation on certain issues is valid and biblical, but let's make sure that whatever we "fight" about is perfectly aligned with God's Word.

Our nation was settled as a refuge for those persecuted for their beliefs, yet we persecute each other today for our personal platforms. Wouldn’t it be appropriate for an updated version of Matthew 19:19, to say: “Love thy opposing party as thyself?”

Christians, follow Christ’s example and the advice given by Peter in the New Testament:

Be agreeable, be sympathetic, be loving, be compassionate, be humble. That goes for all of you, no exceptions. No retaliation. No sharp-tongued sarcasm. Instead, bless—that's your job, to bless. You'll be a blessing and also get a blessing. 1 Peter 3:8-9 (The Message)

At the End of Election Day

As Christian citizens, it is our responsibility to pray for our nation, more specifically our leaders. No matter who wins the presidency we will need God’s provision, protection, and guidance. Only He knows what’s ahead and we need to trust that by putting our faith in Him – and not man – the United States of America will see better days.

Putting all of our hope in one man to lead us out of a financial, political, and social mess is unwise. Moses led his people – the Israelites – out of bondage. But, he didn’t find the way out on his own. God led him to the Promised Land. May the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, lead America into our Promise.

We cast the vote, but the Bible says God determines who will govern.

So that everyone may know that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world. He gives them to anyone he chooses — even to the lowliest of people.” Daniel 4:17 (NLT)

Rest assured that whoever wins this election, God will give him grace to endure the trials ahead, Truth to live by, and wisdom to lead this country. What we must pray for is that our new president receives this guidance.

All people have issues and problems. Every one of us.
If we get so wrapped up in the midst of our troubles we forget that others have suffered hard times in their walk of life too. We can come into a better understanding of brotherhood when we think more of these things and ask forgiveness.

The Bible says, “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously” (2 Corinthians 9:6). The Lord surprised us. You hear a lot of strange things about tithing. Some say it is a church tax, and they expect me to pay it and that is the end of it. Others say that when I give God one-tenth of my income, He blesses the nine-tenths that is left to the extent that the nine-tenths now goes as far as the whole thing used to go. This isn’t really true, is it? Suppose a farmer had 100 bushels of corn in the barn and he decides to plant 10 bushel in the ground. What multiplies? Is it the 90 bushels that he has left in the barn? Oh, no. All of us “farmers” know it is the 10 bushels you put in the ground that multiplies. Similarly, it is the 10 percent you give to God that multiplies.

Malachi 3:8-10 says, “Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me. But you ask, “How do we rob you?” In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse—the whole nation of you—because you are robbing me. ” I have met a lot of Christians who have curses upon them because they are robbing God. But He goes on to say, “ ‘Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.’ ” Upon whom will God pour out so much blessing, the church? No. Upon you, the giver.

I went to an attorney and said, “Sir, I have come today to make God my Senior Partner. I would like to have you make out a legal paper that says we are turning 51 percent of our business over to God.” He looked at me and said ...

Our business began to grow, and then we were landlocked. We couldn’t buy property to expand our building, so we had to start over again. We went out on Interstate 75 (of Lima, OH) and bought 33 acres on a beautiful curve where we could put “Christ Is the Answer” on the end of our factory. I had this policy never to borrow money, and I had $600,000 cash in the bank to start the new buildings. We began to build our buildings, and we paid the contractor every 30 days progressively. When we were finished, we had spent over $3 million in building these buildings. Amazingly, I still had the $600,000 cash in the bank. That is a true story. When you drive down Interstate 75 and see these buildings, you can point at them and say, that is what God has done.

A Good News Report !

Eric & Patty called us a few days ago to tell us the good news. We were very pleased to hear about their baby on the way. Patty's already named the baby 'Eric Jr.' because of her constant urge to eat. Eric said that he's had to make a special trip for guacamole. Other than that they've only adjusted their grocery list a little bit.

On a personal note...

a huge tax debate

There are many websites that are attempting to attack this issue. Most of us probably know by now that the rich get richer mostly because they know how to legally divert paying taxes to their governments. I've read some things that just sicken me. It's upsetting to see how people do and don't spend their money. I really get bunched up inside when I read how big companies, like Microsoft (and other banks and businesses) didn't pay ANY taxes last year. The other end of the spectrum is just as bad, as the rich can afford to pay high prices, so the prices stay to high, and the not-so-rich can't afford it. Why? Because the rich are buying it. Why is someone else's spending so upsetting? This is as simple as our food prices, medicines, toys, etc.

Ok, now don't beat me up to much for saying this, BUT, in the old days, the majority of the people had reverence for such things. Even the rich thought twice about paying for overly priced items. Especially when someone had a little talk with them and expanded a picture about the future of outrageous pricing.

You may think this is alright since it's legal and you're jealous because you would want to 'put it to the gov' as well. But, let me remind you of some things...

We, the people ...
are part of the government !

We're all part of the monopoly that should have these monies equally divided. The USA could have had a free national health plan in effect this decade - had all taxes been collected -- had all the US businesses supported our government and people with the taxes from their good fortune.

Buy American
Spoiled Again!

Instead, we have families working 2-4 jobs, and homeless people, and schools ceasing to support Driver's Education... and more!

Thievery is legal.
US laws need amended.

My thoughts are having a hard time getting past this.
I've realized that even our own government is a business.

It seems like only the naive are paying taxes.

that the Lord GOD cannot do!

Dancing With God

When I meditated on the word Guidance,
I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word.

I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.

When two people try to lead, nothing feels right.

The movement doesn't flow with the music,

and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.

When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,

both bodies begin to flow with the music.

One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back

Hi Everybody!

I hope all is well with you and yours. I've been busy working, and I really miss spending time on here. Clif and I are email support at pbwiki.com - that's a wiki website for users to collaborate on. Wiki means fast. So this type of website is easy to setup and for many people to edit. There's thousands of users now, and hundreds of teachers and even more students. You can make and maintain a FREE or premium wiki-website if you want to check it out. It's really neat... that's where we've been spending most of our free time for the past year. TIP: All the educational wikis are ad-free!

Clif's son, Eric joined the U.S. Marine's, and he's currently in Iraq for his second tour. Before he left this time, he married a bright, cute, darling girl, named Patty. So, now we have a daughter-in-law in California. She's coming for a visit next week, so I've got some more things to do, and we're planning to go camping with the kids up to the dunes in Michigan. I'm not sure where that is yet. Crystal and Jim's been there a few times and they love it.

Today is my birthday (it's after midnight ) and right before Clif gets into bed, he tells me that he has a card and gift for me... then he hops into bed! What?! Well, of course I'm all over him about this, and just tease him until his big ol' smile starts to fade. It would probably take hours to find it anyway... so here I am.

I spent some time up at my Dad's helping out. I stayed a few days and drove my niece and nephew to work and back while 'the folks' went to visit some smaller grandkids in NYC. Man, when they got back I apologized for being a teenager... but then I retracted and just apologized for acting like I did when I was a teen. it wasn't pretty back then... and I'm really analyzing it again lately. I don't like to think about the bad things in my past unless I can learn from it... and spending a few days with someone else's 'ripe' teens can open ones eyes! It's sorta funny though, because not everyone acts the same way when other people are around. Which reminds me. I told Trace that we'd take her boys camping soon. She's probably ready for a (teen) break... lol We really haven't had any trouble with their boys, and we've stayed with them or they've stayed with us a few days here and there. Most of our 28 nieces and nephews have never given us any serious trouble.

Our family has been growing. We've added two grand-nephews this last year. Xavier will be a year old in July, and Hunter is a few months behind him. X is in California. Which I drove Jessica and X out to the military base back in February, so she would be with her hubby that she hadn't seen since the week of their wedding, last Christmas. Our trip took 5 days because of having to drive farther south to avoid the ice and snow storms that sprang up during our travel. We got into San Diego late Friday night, and I stayed a few days to help her setup house. The following Weds., Clif flew in and came to pick me up, for Eric and Patty's Wedding that Saturday, Feb., 10th, 2007. Reminder: Grand-babies will be coming along soon!

When we attempted to fly back to Columbus, Ohio we were delayed a day from a major ice storm. We were rerouted to Phoenix, AZ, for a night and met Tom of TeMerc Internet Countermeasures the next morning. We just couldn't pass up a chance to finally meet this terrific guy after talking to him online for so long. Tom runs a long time forum for computer help. If anyone has computer issues that may be infestation related, that's the place to visit. We landed at 10:30pm and when we finally retrieved our departed luggage and got to our ice covered car it took at least 15 minutes of chipping the ice off of the windows before we could leave. My plastic coffee mug lasted maybe 5 minutes before the bitter cold (and my tapping) made the bottom of the cup shatter. Clif used the ice scraper. Just before my mug busted he had told me to get into the car and warm up... LOL! (Why don't we listen to these simple things?!) Normally, Columbus is 80-90 minutes from home. The roads weren't completely cleared off so we got home about 2am. Clif got up at 7 and went to work! Me? I slept until noon. I wouldn't trade my water bed for anything! *big-grins*

Well, I guess I caught you up a little bit, but I just saw the time and so I should really go jump into bed.
